Mehrgan Festival was launched with the aim of financing the expenses of Avand School in Sistan. This money was provided by the sponsors before the start of the program, and on the second day of the festival, the film of the school and the students, as well as the distribution of stationery among the children of the schools that we made earlier, was shown to the audience.
People's reception of this celebration was very good and we were able to provide two happy and useful days for the people by performing various programs hosted by Fardad and accompanied by DJ Allen, singers Yari and Glavizh, Dr. Bahram Jam and Sagar Alavi. Also, in various competitions, more than a hundred valuable prizes were awarded to people by the exhibitors.
On the day of the festival, we received 3 letters of appreciation, one of which was from Michael Parsa, Minister of Children, Community and Social Services. Another from Logan (MPP-Markham/Thornhill, Member of Parliament of Canada), and the last from Pierre Poilievre (Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada). And of course, Richmond Mayor David West came and their presence made the audience happy at the show.
