Lily Pourzand, my dear friend, is Community Programs Manager at Sandgate Women's Shelter. She had told us about a young girl who was living in the shelter and that she wished to have a Rollerblade for her birthday. She also needed a few books to learn French at the shelter.

Lily accepted to receive all donations and buy the gifts and books.

She sent us today all the photos and receipts.

The amount raised was $810, of which $281.85 was used to buy books, shoes and a helmet. The rest, $530, will be added to the “Aiding people safe box”..

Currently the amount in the safe is. $2110

Thank you to all of you who made a little girl happy with your constant love, and most of all to the kind Lily who took care of this campaign even with all her ongoing busyness.
