The Mehrgan Festival was held with the purpose of supporting Avand School in Sistan. Thanks to generous sponsors, the necessary funds were secured prior to the event. On the second day of the festival, a heartfelt video was presented showcasing the school, its students, and the distribution of school supplies to children in nearby communities—an initiative we had proudly completed earlier.

The festival was met with an enthusiastic response from the community. Over two joyful and engaging days, we brought together a variety of cultural and entertainment programs, hosted by the charismatic Fardad and energized by DJ Allen. Live performances by singers Yari and Glavizh, along with appearances by Dr. Bahram Jam and Sagar Alavi, added to the vibrancy of the event. Throughout the festival, more than a hundred valuable prizes were awarded to attendees through fun and interactive competitions held by our exhibitors.

We were honored to receive three letters of appreciation during the festival. One came from Hon. Michael Parsa, Ontario’s Minister of Children, Community and Social Services. The second was from Logan Kanapathi, Member of Provincial Parliament for Markham–Thornhill. The third was from the Honorable Pierre Poilievre, Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada. We were also delighted to welcome Mayor David West of Richmond Hill, whose presence added to the excitement and joy of the celebration.
